  • Short Construction Period: Feed silos can be installed quickly, minimizing downtime and accelerating return on investment.

  • Low Investment: Compared to traditional storage methods, steel silos offer a cost-effective solution.

  • High Automation: Automated systems streamline processes, reducing labor costs and increasing efficiency.

2. Space Efficiency and Material Handling:

  • Small Footprint: Feed silos occupy a minimal amount of space, optimizing land utilization.

  • Mechanized Handling: Automated systems facilitate efficient handling of bulk raw materials, eliminating the need for manual bagging and reducing cross-contamination.

3. Improved Farm Management:

  • Simplified Management: Feed silos streamline daily farm operations, reducing the burden of labor-intensive tasks.

  • Reduced Labor Costs: Automation and efficient processes contribute to significant labor cost savings.

4. Hygiene and Security:

  • Pest Prevention: The closed feeding design effectively prevents contamination by rats and flies, ensuring feed hygiene and safety.

  • Theft Prevention: Enclosed silos protect feed materials from theft.

5. Precise Feeding:

  • Quantitative Feeding: Automated feeding systems enable precise measurement and delivery of feed, preventing inconsistent intake and nutritional imbalances.

6. Improved Farm Conditions:

  • Clean and Durable Environment: Feed silos contribute to a clean and durable farm environment, promoting animal health and reducing feed waste. This ultimately leads to reduced breeding costs.

By incorporating feed silos into your farm operations, you can benefit from these advantages and enhance the overall efficiency, profitability, and sustainability of your agricultural endeavors.

Why Choose Sprint Drives Steel Silos for Feed Storage

  • Sprint Drives feed silos are versatile solutions for storing a wide range of animal feed. The sealed silo roof and body design effectively protect grain feed from moisture damage. Our feed silo systems optimize loading and unloading processes, ensuring maximum efficiency while safeguarding stored feed from external contaminants and pests. Additionally, these silos can be seamlessly integrated with various animal husbandry automation systems, offering a flexible and efficient solution with minimal manpower and material resource requirements.

  • All Sprint Drives feed silos are constructed using either corrugated galvanized bolted steel or galvanized spiral steel. The silo bottom can be designed with varying feeding angles to accommodate different materials and characteristics, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted flow of pellets. Our feed steel silos offer a range of galvanizing options, from Z275 to Z600 g/m2, in compliance with UNE-EN 36130 standards, providing exceptional durability and weather resistance.

  • SprintDrives feed silos typically consist of a silo roof, silo body, and cone bottom. The system may also include raw material silos, buffer silos, finished product silos, and bagging silos, accommodating a variety of grains. The silo is equipped with weighing, unloading, cleaning, dust collection, and handling machinery. Natural ventilation windows, manholes, and ladders are installed on the roof. The roof is sealed with mastic and waterproof gaskets, while safety fences are positioned around the eaves. The silo body comprises wall panels, support columns, ladders, protective handrails, silo doors, and door platforms.

  • 3.The corrugated plate adopts inner stand columns with punching form: The main function is to increase the seismic resistance, lateral and vertical load resistance of feed silo, and increase the vertical stability of the silo; the columns and the silo walls are connected by specially customized galvanized bolts with high strength, and there are also specially customized ring beams , The advantages of column feet, tie bars, painted cone bottoms, etc. are long service life.
