Brief:
For the same volume silo, the flat bottom silo is with lower silo height and is more cost-effective. Single silo capacity range of 50-15000 tons.
Flat Bottom Silo Information
Sprint Drives offers a comprehensive range of grain silos and accessories tailored to your specific needs and designed to maximize your profitability. Our flat-bottom silos are available in various sizes, with diameters ranging from 4.58 meters to 32 meters and capacities up to 23,000 cubic meters.
1. Silo Roof: The roof angle of our silos is typically designed between 25 and 30 degrees to optimize structural stress and ensure maximum safety. The roof design incorporates a strong interconnection between the top and bottom ring beams, radial ribs, and top cover panels, ensuring the silo can withstand even the harshest environmental conditions, including extreme snow loads.
2. Stiffeners:
Our high-tension outside stiffener profiles reinforce the entire silo body structure, ensuring stability under extreme conditions. All stiffeners are fully galvanized to prevent rusting over time.
3. Wind Rings:
Wind rings are used to enhance the strength of tall silos or those located in areas with strong winds. They effectively reinforce the silo's bearing capacity, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
4. High-Strength Bolts:
We use 8.8/10.9 grade high-strength galvanized bolts, paired with nuts, sealing washers, and sealing gum between steel plates, to guarantee perfect sealing and solidity of the silo.
5. Manholes:
Our steel silos feature two-piece manholes. The first is used for roof access, while the second is typically located on the second bottom ring to allow workers to enter for grain residual cleaning or maintenance operations.
6. Ladder System and Rest Platforms:
Our silos include internal and external ladders and rest platforms, constructed from painted or galvanized sheets in a modular form. The external safety ladder with cages provides safe access to the roof.
7. Base Angle and Anchoring:
The rolled structural base angle prevents water from entering at the base of the bin, enhancing protection.
8. Silo Bottom Secondary Waterproofing: We use polymer waterproofing material at the bottom of the silo to provide secondary waterproofing reinforcement.
